Who We Are

We are the Pikes Peak Area's Local Organizing Committee (LOC), made up of agencies, municipalities, organizations, community groups and individuals from across the Pikes Peak Wonders Region. Our role is to help facilitate and promote events and programs that honor and celebrate our great state and nation. While our primary focus is on El Paso, Fremont and Teller counties, we proudly support efforts in our neighboring counties as well, including Custer, Pueblo, Park, and Chaffee.

Our Mission

The Pikes Peak Area 150 is the central resource for all community organizations throughout the Pikes Peak Region to advocate and organize on behalf of a broad range of historically-focused programs, cultural events, and initiatives to more effectively promote the region and its connection to the shared histories of Colorado and the United States.

Our Vision

The Pikes Peak Region will have the most diverse, inspirational, inclusive, and memorable programming and events executed throughout the A250-CO150 commemoration.

Join us in commemorating the rich history and culture of the Pikes Peak area as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of America and the 150th anniversary of Colorado. Together, we can embrace our heritage, define our future, and change the world.
